Life Sciences Center for Alcohol
and Addiction Studies
The center brings together more than 130 faculty and professional staff across
eleven University departments and eight affiliated hospitals to promote the identification,
prevention, and effective treatment of alcohol and other drug use problems in
our society through research, education, training, and policy advocacy. Center

The Center is dedicated to improving the health and health care for all women
by working with academic and community partners and collaborating with public

The Center for Gerontology and Health Care Research is a multi-disciplinary research
center with a special focus on the diverse health and social service needs of
persons with chronic illnesses, especially older adults. Center

scholarship and study of modern materials by advanced experimental and theoretical
